A wellness fair aimed at educating the community about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and healthy ways to deal with toxic stress.
About this event
Join MECCA and our partners for a wellness fair aimed at educating the community about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and ways to deal with toxic stress. We'll have a number of family-friendly activities that help teach people healthy ways to deal with toxic stress, including:
Supportive Relationships
Mental Healthcare
Experiencing Nature
Mindfulness Practices
Physical Activity
Balanced Nutrition
Quality Sleep
We will have two food trucks on-site, Frankie's Frozen Treats and Family Pizza Truck. The first 300 attendees to complete all of the toxic stress-busting activities and fill out their punch cards will receive a voucher for one free meal.
There will be an opportunity to participate in a raffle for a number of prizes.
The event is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
Our partners include the Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center, Hope Community Services, the Pacific Islander Health Partnership, Peer Voices of Orange County, and more.
